Since 2020 (3+ years): Director of Research, Innovation & New Mobility at CLEPA, the Brussels-based European Association of Automotive Suppliers, fostering collaboration with other stakeholders for smarter, greener, safer mobility through pre-competitive Research & Innovation (R&I).

1991-2020 (28+ years): Extensive experience as project manager and team leader in a series of positions with increasing responsibility in the automotive sector at CRF, the Torino-based R&I centre of FIAT/FCA (now Stellantis)

1983-1991 (8 years): Trained and worked as researcher in the aerospace & defence sector with the British Ministry of Defence at various locations across the UK.

Since 1992: Chartered Mechanical Engineer and IMechE Member (now Fellow)

1992: Awarded Ph.D. for research project on ‘Non-linear System Dynamics’: Manchester University

1987: Graduated with B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering (1st-class honours): Southampton University
