Dr Farhan Ahmad, currently working as Assistant Professor (Research) at the Centre for Future Transport and Cities, Coventry University, UK. Dr. Ahmad received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Derby, the United Kingdom in 2019; M.Sc. in Communication and Information Technology from the University of Bremen, Germany, and B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad (Previously COMSATS Institute of Information Technology), Pakistan.
His research focuses on addressing cybersecurity issues within Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAVs) and Internet of Things (IoT). His interests lie in performing Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments (TARA) and designing novel security solutions for CAV and IoT domains, specifically from trust management perspective. Farhan has worked on various research projects including TOMSAC (Trade-off Management between Safety and Cybersecurity) and 5G-CAL (5G-enabled Connected Autonomous Vehicle Logistics).
