Matthias studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich and started his work at Bosch Center Stuttgart/Germany in 2005 in the platform development for Diesel Engines.

Afterwards he has led advanced development projects for Hybrid Powertrains at Bosch and concluded his powertrain experience with being responsible for Bosch’s diesel engineering and application center in Bangalore, India.

In 2016 he changed to Bosch's Chassis division taking care of the ww actuation development and today he is responsible for the platform development of all brake products for Bosch which are the latest generations of the ESP, the Ibooster and the 1-box of Bosch.
