Company: INTES GmbH
Presentation Title: FE-Modeling for Brake Squeal Simulation with Uncertain Parameters (EB2020-STP-038)
Session: Challenges around Long-Life Friction Couples, Monday 17 May 2021, 15:00 - 16:40 (Central Europe Summer Time - CEST)
What do you find most interesting about the topic of your presentation?
Faster and more robust finite element analysis (FEA) by integration. The idea is not to make a co-simulation with several software packages. Integration of functionality in one software package has so many advantages that it leads to new findings!
When discussing this topic with industry peers, what question are you most frequently asked? How do you answer it?
Why is faster FEA and integration an advantage?
Faster means that more variants could be analysed. This gives you more knowledge about component behaviour. With this knowledge, better, superior products can be designed.
Who do you think will be most interested in your presentation, and who would you most like to ask questions about it?
The presentation is aimed at everyone who uses CEA and all decision-makers who are responsible for product quality and for virtual product development.
What specific topics or technology are you hoping to see in other presentations or in the exhibition?
I am generally interested in all methods for virtual product development and especially in all methods for comparing tests and simulations.
