Opportunities to present your research at EuroBrake 2022



FISITA and the EuroBrake Steering Committee invites you to submit a technical paper, presentation or poster for EuroBrake 2022, to take place in May, by Monday 15th November.


Presenting a paper at EuroBrake gives you the opportunity to share your latest technical ideas and achievements with influential specialists from around the world and to discuss your work with colleagues throughout the braking community.


As previous years we are looking for abstract submissions in any of the following themes:

  • Intelligent braking and braking control

  • Environmentally friendly braking systems

  • Manufacturing and markets

  • Materials and design

  • Fundamentals of brakes

  • Complex systems involving brakes


New for EuroBrake 2022

In addition to the themes above we are also looking for abstract submissions for the following:

  • Testing / standardisation

  • Rail specific

  • Commercial vehicle specific

  • Motorcycle specific

Abstracts should be submitted in English and contain the following:

  • Title of the submission

  • Clear description of the main scientific, technical, economic and/or practical points to be addressed, paying attention to those aspects of the work which are new, innovative and unique (350–500 words)

  • 3 - 5 key words
